This session aims to present the key advancements and major challenges of electric mobility in Cameroon. As the sector is still emerging, several private initiatives are currently underway, focusing on two- and four-wheel electric mobility. The Government of Cameroon has introduced fiscal and customs incentives through the 2025 Finance Law, specifically targeting reductions in customs duties and excise taxes on the importation of electric vehicles. These measures could serve as a catalyst for the development of electric mobility in the country.
